Adventure-seeking but bored out of his mind with life back home. Feels estranged from friends and family, unable to find joy in life outside of fleeting moments. Addicted to problem-solving and exciting experiences to take his mind off a troubled past. Very much likes to be the center of attention and the smartest person in the room.

Sole Hunter of Bizmati keep, though Rachuck lays claim to the human as a guard as well. Despite both his and Dakota’s efforts the human spends most of his time in the smithy and recently renovated workshop.

Sapphire Rayland (Saph)

The keep’s finest flyer and archer, of which she is justly proud. Extremely competitive personality, especially with Jackalope – has to be the best, and enjoys that status. Has a caring side she doesn’t show often.

Born at Vulcha Keep, from which she was kicked out at age 15 due to overcrowding. Dreamt of joining the Royal Guard but her hopes were crushed by her poverty stricken background. Lived alone in the capital from age 15 to 17 where she took up racing, to which she proved a natural, winning the championship at age 17.

Jackalope Furlong (Jacky)

Rambunctious and bold, fiercely competitive and often reckless. The largest and strongest of the huntresses, and the fastest flyer in a straight line. Has a very ‘direct’ sort of personality and lives life enthusiastically. Cares little for what she is told not to do, though it is possible to get through to the softer side beneath the facade.

Born at Furlong Keep along with her mother, They lost their home when Jacky was little, making Jacky the last of the old Furlong line. They since settled at Bizmati keep at Nunuk’s invitation.

Fengi (Fen)

Young and a bit timid with strangers, but very curious and outgoing once she develops trust. She can be very Idealistic and unwilling to face the evils of the world. Often described as the sweetest girl anyone has ever met. Very much enjoys music and dancing.

Born in the capital and given to an orphanage when still an infant, she still holds loyalty to the orphanage and Lady Doray who took her in.

Esmeralda Quinlin (Essy)

Born at Bizmati keep. Parents died of old age some time ago, has one sister living in the capital. Married to the guard Kokashi and mother of Anastasi, Rakshaza, and Vigon.

Dakota Bizmati

Gilded huntress of Bizmati Keep, a courageous and competent leader who hides her insecurity about her abilities behind confidence and determination. Desperately trying to grow into her mothers shoes before the time comes for her to take over the keep, often forgetting who she is in the process.

Eldest daughter of Nunuk and Apuma Bizmati, has 2 siblings, her brother Rachuck and little sister Linkosta. Married to the guard Anchor, mother of Holdey and Kiran.

Phospheno (Pho)

The largest and toughest man at Bizmati keep, the son of a far off noble family and married to Dakota through an arranged circumstance. Father of Holdey and Kiran. A fine fighter and a decent leader, Anchor has earned the respect of Rachuck Bizmati well enough to be made second in command of the guard should the need arise.

Kokashi Quinlin

A young and sprightly man with a mind at least 10 years younger than his body, if not more. Rude jokes and ill thought out remarks are his bread and butter as he chases the tail of yet another girl. Unfortunately for him, his abilities on the field left him without his own tail, which has since been replaced with a prosthetic limb, courtesy of the inquisition. A fine piece of work by all accounts, but alas the true tail he lost was his beloved Canabrera all along. Has recently come into the possession of a flying lizard named Skitters which has gone marvelously.

Lady Nunuk Bizmati

Former Huntress and warrior, a veteran of many years and many battles. She has served as the Lady of Bizmati keep for decades following her mother and her grandmother before that. A fair Lady whose concern is her own home before others. She is well versed in the worlds of politics and intrigue, though she prefers the quiet life on the frontier.

Still a potent warrior even in her old age, though the years are quickly catching up with her having lived for over a century. Her vast experience of both life and battle has also refined her magic, the art of healing. You would be hard pressed to find a finer healer for tending wounds and injuries even in the great cities.

She is married to Apuma and is the mother of Dakota, Rachuck, and Linkosta. In her old age she has done well to keep up with her duties as Lady but time is catching up with her, Recently she has been grievously wounded twice and it has taken a severe toll on the old lady. She has lost her wings and is in considerable pain, thusly she has begun preparing to pass on the torch to her eldest daughter Dakota.

Apuma Bizmati

He is Nunuk’s husband and is father to Dakota, Rachuck and Linkosta.

Linkosta Bizmati

A young and sprightly academic who is working hard to to match her father in the field of magics. Already a fairly competent ritual mage she has dipped her snout into all manner of disciplines during her time at the Royal Academy. Curious above all, Linkosta is quite unable to not pursue any and all knowledge she comes across. If knowledge is power, she will be a queen one day.

Shiva Furlong

Specialized in platework as an armor smith, though she produces many different things for life on the frontier.

Raulf Corechester

A sprightly farmer who is definitely no more than middling of age, and woe be onto he who says otherwise. Raulf works hard and plays hard and as head farmer at Bizmati keep there is plenty of work to be done. Raulf tends the crops and leads the work parties when it is time for all to lend a hand. A kind if at times rough man, he and his wife Wiperna do not shy from helping with other matters at the keep, such as tanning, washing, and caring for the children, of which they have three themselves, the triplets, Worpock, Turinia and Calhoun

Wiperna Corechester

Kulinger Illmertha

A highly religious man dedicated as much to his craft as to the gods above the forest. A skilled woodworker is Kulinger, who is tasked with the common maintenance of the keep as well as their small menagerie of out buildings, such as the wood barn and tanning hut. Originally hired in by Nunuk and Apuma many years ago, he was born further north at a far off frontier keep where he learned his trade from his father before him.

Former guard and militia member from the capital before she was crippled and forced to live on the streets.  Exceedingly skittish personality due to extensive abuse in the past. Very thankful for her new position at the keep, she often pushes herself to exhaustion to show her appreciation. A wonderful sweetheart she has quickly become a friend of all at the keep especially the children, though some worry she may not be the best at saying no.

Tink

An eccentric inventor. Originally contracted in the capital to work on some of Tom’s more mundane designs, before being recruited to work at the keep on some of Tom’s less mundane ideas. Scatterbrained and very enthusiastic about any invention big or small. Not a fan of overly complicated safety procedures, many people have expressed surprise that he is still alive and not missing any major limbs.

Tink Junior

Young and bright, assists his father with their work, mostly running errands and providing some common sense on occasion. Still adjusting to life at the keep, which has been quite the turnaround from the busy streets of the capital. Holdey Bizmati
