Eldest living daughter of the Deriva line, granddaughter of Lady Deriva. Rekui saw herself advanced to leader of the hunt at Deriva following the disastrous battle, much like her brother Luke.

Position: Greenhorn huntress

Only other fully flightworthy huntress along with Rekui following the battle, the two of them have been working overtime to make ends meet in the barer rocky landscape surrounding Deriva keep. After the addition of Tiguan things have gone far more smoothly, with the dragon more than willing to assist with the hunts.

Huxley

Huxly formerly took care of the livestock at Deriva, namely their goats, which he cared for with a gentle hand. Following the battle their flock was wiped out and Huxley himself was badly wounded with a broken back, consigning him to a bed for many months, though there is hope he will one day walk again. Father of the twins Trada and Leiknik, his wife was lost during the battle leaving the cripple alone with two boys.

The youngest woman of the keep, a hard worker despite her age, she cleans, cooks and does dishes at the keep. One of the very first to start properly trusting Tiguan after the dragon managed to convince her to let him help clean the floors. She also tended to Tom following the battle, just as she did the many other wounded.

Lukano (Luke) Deriva

Young and eternally optimistic man, despite their terrible position. With both his mother father and uncle lost in the battle, Luke is now the eldest son of the Deriva line and recently promoted captain of the guard

Quinawu (Quin)

Position: Loremaster

Last remaining healer at Deriva, her skills saved many lives during and following the battle, Including Tom’s and Jacky’s. To the point and often rough, this religious woman takes her job very seriously but also demands the same of those around her.

Kalix

Very young guard who was severly wounded during the battle, he nevertheless labored on. A very tough young man, Kalix is willing to do what it takes to protect his home, even if that means cleaning corridors while covered in bandages.

Uli

Age: 92

Build: Old and worn out
Gender: Female
Magic: Enhanced sight
Position: Silvered huntress

An aging woman, Uli lost part of her wing during the battle and is thus barely able to fly, in her advanced age the strain of it is too much to travel any appreciable distance. Both before the battle but especially after, much of her day has been spent caring for and teaching the children of the keep.

She took quite some time to warm up to Tiguan, though she has since come to trust the black dragon to assist in caring for the kids, including him carrying her for flying lessons for the little ones.
