Talon blade

An enchanted sword, owned by Nunuk Bizmati. The symbol of her rule and destined to be passed down to Dakota when the Lady passes on the torch.

The blade is a thin silvery sheen made from mithril, the enhanced strength of the metal allowing for a thinner cross section than even the finest steel sword. It is finely decorated from needle tip to basket hilt and a true work of art. Forged in the capital long ago, the blade was given to Nunuk’s grandmother many years ago for her service to the crown.

The light weight and rear-set center of mass impairs parrying and slashing, but eases fast maneuvering. The needle point and wicked edge makes it a perfect weapon for stabbing through lesser armors or weak spots in finer sets.

However, the true centerpiece is the enchantment. A talon blade can turn ethereal at will, making it possible to simply phase through an opponent’s guard.

Rachuck’s Blade

A mithril longsword, finely decorated and beautifully made, though it’s origins are unknown.

The blade carries an inertia enchantment allowing it to strike with far more force than the laws of physics would normaly allow.

Telepathic Earrings

A seemingly simple yet highly valued item consisting of a set of magically bound earrings which may confer the thoughts of one user to the other over vast distances. Their usefulness rivaled only by their cost and rarity, they are a rare sight indeed and a treasure jealously guarded by those who have them in their possession.

Nunuk’s Armor

An exquisite set of enchanted mithril armor belonging to the lady of Bizmati keep. The set sports a lighter construction than most, relying on the skill of the user to get the most out of it. In exchange the light metal and wide range of motion grants unrivaled mobility and endurance for the protection provided.

It carries two enchantments etched into its surface with crisscrossing patterns of magical runes. It may both regulate the temperature of the user to keep them from overheating in battle as well as mitigating the force of incoming blows.

Using either enchantment brings considerable strain to the user but in battle it may be the difference between life and death.

Potions

A wide variety of potions and arcane concoctions exist in the world of Oka. They include but are not limited to:

  • Firebreathing
    • Allows the user to briefly breathe fire at their enemies, while also shielding them from the heat.
  • Healing
    • Rapidly cures most bodily injuries, ranging from broken legs to internal bleeding.
  • Strength
    • Briefly enhances the user’s strength to supernatural levels.
  • Water Breathing
    • Allows the user to breathe underwater for a period of time.

Sapphire’s Necklace

A very fine gem encrusted necklace given to Sapphire as a trophy for winning the Tonselra championship some 17 years ago.

Consisting of a stout leather strap carrying eight large, unique gems (sapphire, emerald, ruby, amethyst, peridot, topaz, garnet, opal) with a golden sigil in the middle inscribed with her name and status as champion.

Jackalope’s Armor

Custom enchanted mithril full plate armor, originally owned by Jacky’s grandmother Kalbida Furlong. It was sold off to the Flaxens to help fund the defense of Furlong keep, and recently retrieved as spoils.

It is heavier and more protective than Nunuk’s armor, and has extra enchantments to reinforce the strength of any weak points, but this protection comes at the cost of some mobility.

Tom’s Armor

A dark blue and grey set of Brigandine armor, procured by Joelina for use by Tom. The set is destined to be modified by Shiva, Linkosta and Edita to suit the human as well as possible

The set is constructed with maximum stealth in mind. The overlapping mithril plates which make up the core of its construction are lined with fine linens and leathers to allow for near silent movement.

Should that prove insufficient, the armor is enchanted to create a bubble of silence around the wearer for short periods of time, in addition to more standard armor enchantments such as impact dampening.

Materials

Mithril

A magic metal, forged as an alloy of steel and silver through some arcane smelting process. Exceptionally strong and stiff yet flexible, lightweight, and extraordinarily expensive. Has roughly the toughness of hardened steel, the flexibility and resilience of spring steel, and the light weight of aluminum. It doesn’t rust and is proof against acid. Often used for creating enchanted weapons or armor.

Adamantine

An ultra hard and very strong magically created metal alloy. Adamantine loses strength rapidly with temperature but is capable of withstanding incredible stresses. Cold tends to turn it brittle.

The usage of lead and mercury in the alloy makes the resulting metal incredibly heavy.

Gravity Oil

A mysterious blue liquid discovered in the ancient vaults under Bizmati island that appears to have antigravitic properties.

It creates lift when heated or put under pressure, though the procedure rapidly cools the compound.

Apparently non-toxic to mice, but toxic to dragonettes if drunk and no antidote is administered.

Supposedly an organic material according to the old records, it seems to have been used in ancient times to create flying ships of various types, and might be what keeps the floating islands in the air. Often refered to as “Dragon essence”

Boom Powder

A mixture of flash powder and saltpeter. The combination results in a potent concoction able to rival even the strongest explosives ever devised. Once ignited, the resulting fiery explosion creates such heat that one may be mistaken for thinking gasoline was involved in the mixture, but alas it is but a plain looking powder.

The mixture can be altered to change the rate of the burn, from a gentle poof to an ear-shattering crack. For use as propellant, a 50/50 mix is used, while more saltpeter will be needed if one seeks true high explosives.

Flash Gel/Powder

Dried red dragon saliva. Goes off with a large flash of flame upon contact with fire. Can be mixed with saltpeter to create boom powder or oil for napalm-like results.

Blitz Gel/Powder

Derived from blue dragon saliva and holds an immense electric charge as chemical energy. Fiercely unstable when in powdered state and highly temperamental even when still a gel. The concoction may be aged or simply discharged, carefully, in order to reduce its volatility.

Often used for fuzes and more recently as a potent power source for all manner of technology.

Dragon Acid

Black dragon saliva. An extremely powerful acid, capable of eating through stone if given time, and dissolving organic material in mere moments. Can be safely stored in glass containers, though the fumes are to be avoided. Thus far, few uses exist outside of weaponry and truly dastardly interrogations.

Green Dragon Venom

An exceedingly deadly poison that eats the target from the inside out. The venom almost seems alive, slowly turning the target green as they succumb to its effects.

Should one survive contact with the venom, it will leave them weak and lethargic. Cures do exist but most mundane concoctions can only ease the pain rather than cure it.

Frost powder

Dried white dragon saliva. Safe to handle when dry, quickly becomes extremely cold when mixed with even the slightest bit of water. Often used for refrigeration or personal cooling applications.
